Amy began her time as a labor doula in 1999 and a massage therapist in 2000.   She holds certifications in Deep Tissue Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy from the Atlanta School of Massage.  After the birth of her first child, she came to deeply appreciate the benefits of bodywork during pregnancy for the wellness of the body, mind, and spirit.  This led her to become trained in Pre and Perinatal Massage from Carole Osborne-Sheets, which she has enjoyed practicing since 2003.  In 2008, Amy, along with the rest of the PMC team, was also certified in the wonderful work of Fertility Massage.  Her personal experiences giving birth has also led her to further her passion of supporting pregnant women and their partners during the beautiful process of labor and birth.  She is currently training toward becoming a certified nurse-midwife.

"I love to help women and their partners to have as enjoyable and comfortable a pregnancy as possible.  Whether you are looking for full-body relaxation or relief of specific discomforts, I adjust our massage session to meet your particular needs.  Clients find that during our sessions they experience deep tension release, and after our sessions, they experience less pain and soreness, more energy, and are able to sleep better at night."
