Reneé Kimes

Reneé Kimes, owner and operator of PMC since 2007, is a nationally certified massage therapist entertaining the idea of a world gone massage. She believes that massage is the most important gift we can give ourselves--it calms, it relieves, and it promotes smiles. Her ultimate goal is to change people’s perception of touch back to the loving, caring, beneficial experience it truly is.

Reneé is also a labor support doula, witnessing her first birth in Dec of 2004. As of this update she has attended over 50 births. For now she considers herself "semi-retired" as a doula, instead focusing on the new love in her life, her niece, Kaya.

She received an Associate Degree in Occupational Studies at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2000 and is Nationally Certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Her certification for Pre and Perinatal Massage is from Carole Osborne-Sheets and her certification in infant massage instruction is through the International Loving Touch Foundation. She also trained with Claire Marie Miller in 2008 for Fertility Massage.   Reneé is a professional member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.

“ The most beautiful and the most profound emotion we can experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the power of all true science.” - Albert Einstein

Sara P. Gartland

Sara received over 1000 hours of massage therapy education in order to get her Associate Degree in Occupational Studies from the Swedish Institute in New York City in 2003. She worked at several massage therapy centers in NYC and ran a successful private practice specializing in deep tissue and medical massage. Sara returned to the Swedish Institute to teach Shiatsu and be an off-site clinical supervisor. She received her prenatal massage training from Susanrachel Condon at the Swedish Institute in 2004. In addition, she has studied Lymphatic Drainage with the Upledger Institute. Sara is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and is nationally certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

Sara’s two beautiful little girls blessed her with two very different pregnancies and births. Each experience deepened her profound appreciation and sense of awe for this amazing time in a woman’s life. Sara has been present at three other births and hopes to become a birth doula in the future.

Sara loves working with pregnant women and their families! She is a true believer in the ability and wisdom of the body to heal itself when given the opportunity. She views each session as a chance to bring the client’s awareness back into their body and to educate them on postural and habitual patterns which may cause discomfort.

Sarah Tidwell

In memory of Sarah Tidwell

Sept. 1 1970 - Sept. 9 2009

On September 9, 2009, our most beloved Sarah left this life and entered the gates of Heaven. For the past four years, she has battled leukemia with a relentless ferocity. Her strength and faith in spite of her illness has been a true inspiration to all of those who know and love her.

Sarah, my dear business partner, was truly one of my best friends, she gave me courage and belief that we were both worthy to venture into business and be successful. She was not wrong. She also showed me what it meant to be a true partner, with honesty and integrity and yes, the dreaded word--compromise! But what she did most for me was be a true friend, without judgment, without conditions, with true love, laughter, silliness, and openness. I work every day to follow in those footsteps. She will be forever in my heart and for those of you that had the pleasure of knowing her in yours too. She was a wife, a sister, an aunt, and a friend, but most of all she was an inspiration.

Renne Kimes.
